Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE)

The school is a part of the worldwide education network managed by the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE). This international school network is one of the largest in the world.

It currently brings together 567 French schools abroad in over 138 countries. Belonging to this network is a guarantee of academic excellence, and enables any student of the French School in Warsaw to continue their education in another French school abroad, without any break in their curriculum.

The Agency coordinates the French Education Abroad (EFE) network, made up of schools approved by the French Ministry of Education. It structures its network into sixteen zones that pool resources, with a regional training institute (IRF) in each zone.

The French School in Warsaw belongs to the Central and Eastern European Zone (ZECO).

The AEFE Central and Eastern Europe zone comprises:

  • 14 countries (including 8 in the European Union)
  • 36 schools (13 directly managed, 15 under agreement and 8 partner schools)
  • over 16,400 students
  • 15 national languages
  • strong historical and cultural influence

The ZECO is notable for its rich linguistic, cultural and heritage diversity.
These characteristics reflect in its schools, students and staff.

The “EFE3D” label, awarded by the AEFE, reflects our school’s commitment to education for sustainable development and highlights the work carried out by our teams.

The “Génération 2024” label rewards schools in the AEFE network that are committed to developing school sports and promoting the values conveyed by sport.
